VZN TEXT ALERTS — PRIVACY POLICY

This policy explains how VISION Inc. (Vessels Interceding Sowing Into Our Nation) collects and uses information through VZN Text Alerts.

What we collect: Your name, mobile number, email address, whether you are a parent/guardian or volunteer, your SMS consent (including the date, time, and method), and your replies to our messages, including STOP and HELP.

How we use it: Only to send the VZN Text Alerts you signed up for (program updates, event reminders, schedule changes, and volunteer coordination), to respond to your requests, and to keep records of consent and opt-outs as the law requires.

What we never do: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We never sell your information.

Service providers: We use a texting platform to deliver messages. It processes your number only to send our messages and may not use it for any other purpose.

Security: We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. Access is limited to authorized VZN staff and volunteers.

Minors: VZN Text Alerts is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect mobile numbers from minors. If you believe a minor has enrolled, contact us and we will delete the number.

Your choices: Reply STOP at any time to opt out. To ask what information we hold, or to request deletion, email info@vision-inc.org.
